Is there any way to quickly accept/skip the "this folder is shared with other people" message?
Is there any way to quickly respond to the "this folder is shared with other people" prompt you get when trying to delete subdirectories in a folder you have shared? Picture the following scenario: 1. Share a folder 2. Build up a complex hierarchy of folders under that shared folder 3. Delete some of the shared folders on the machine hosting the share. When I do this under Windows 7, I proceed to get the above prompt for pretty much EVERY sub folder that is being deleted. Now, if you have a nice structure of 50+ folders, this quickly gets very tedious responding to each prompt! So, is there any way to avoid having to respond to this prompt for every folder? I could stop sharing and delete the sub-folders, but I don't want to disrupt anyone using the folders I am NOT deleting. If this crazy prompt is by design, then can it at least be made like the file copy/overwrite prompts etc where you can choose to respond the same to all other items.

This is by design, cannot be disabled. If you would not like to be asked when deleting a file, you may try the “del” command lines with the parameter /q. After you enter “del /?” you will get more information. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
